Thank you to all that helped us produce COVID-19 Face Shields
We are robotics teams from multiple schools in South Jersey and during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic we focused our engineering skills on 3D printing face shields to protect our local medical, nursing home and other front line workers who were unable to get sufficient supplies.
Our middle school, high school, and other community volunteers stepped up to make a difference during a terrible time. Rather than watching movies, on-line gaming and sleeping-in we saw this team dedicate their time to come up with a critical idea, work hard to complete, and distribute out to the real heroes our local Frontline Heroes.
We produced over 6,000 3D Printed shields with over 30,000 refills. Thank you to all those who helped print, hole punch, sand and finish those shields. Also a huge thank you to those who made donations.
We have now seen large scale commercial supply return to our nursing homes and hospitals, so this team has completed it’s mission. We have now finished distributing all shields.
Thank you all!
